Who we are
The Scarborough Diving Club is a non-profit, parent-run organization, dedicated to serve the needs of the City of Scarborough in the sport of diving.
The Learn-to-Dive Program
The learn-to-dive program teaches divers the fundamentals of the sport of diving. The learn-to-dive program follows D.P.C. guidelines to promote a safe and enjoyable program. Divers are given progress reports at the end of their sessions to track their progress. Our learn-to-dive programs run once a week for 1 hour. The learn-to-dive program runs for 10 weeks.
The Competitive Program
The competitive programs enhance the fundamentals learned during the learn-to-dive program to produce certain requirements for competition. The competitive program runs two to three nights a week with complex dry land, strengthening exercises and board work. There are different age groups and levels for those entering into competition.
The SDC Snowball Tournament
We encourage many divers to participate in this competition. The Snowball is a level I, II, III competition. Clubs from all over Ontario join us for a weekend of fun. The fee to attend the Snowball Classic is $20 for registration and $15 per event. If you enjoy a little competition and love to dive, bring along your team and join us!
